Introduction:

If you are a dedicated traveler and rider who loves to explore stunning heights, always push to your limits and sometimes bear severe conditions this trip is right for you. There are three main regions leaded in north-east part of Georgian Caucasia: Khevi, Khevsureti and Tusheti which are connected to each other with single trails which cross the highest summits and passes of caucasia. While Khevi is very gorgeous with it’s mt.Kazbeg with it’s glacier, Khevsureti is magnificent with it’s Abudelauri colorful lakes and Tusheti is misterious with it’s ancient villages, beautiful nature and dancing rivers.

Experience:

This is the most difficult and challenging tour we have ever done in Georgia regarding the difficulty of climbs and technicality of the descents. Riders who want to complete this route must have a great cardio, endurance and technical experience of riding, otherwise they will still complete the tour, but it will be exhausting and not so good for them. like 70% of the climbs we will be pushing our bikes to reach the peaks, otherwise it’s not possible to be seated on bikes and to push our pedals. Descending parts will be very technical with some slippery shale surface.

10 days of adventure, exploring three most beautiful historic regions of Georgia by riding on top of the caucasus mountains and crossing three main and most difficult passes of Georgia. (Glacier of Mt.Kazbegi, Altihut 3014m, Chaukhi pass 3338m, Atsunta pass3430m).

Itinerary:

Day1 – Meeting at the airport / Setting up for the tour / Evening beer.

Day2 – Drive to Kazbegi / Evening acclimatization.

Day3 – Riding through the Glacier of Mt.Kazbegi. Visiting Altihut (3014m).

Day4 – From Juta to Roshka via Chaukhi pass (3338m) and Abudelauri lakes.

Day5 – From Roshka to ancient fortress Shatili.

Day6 – Rest day. Visiting Mutso fortress.

Day8 – From Mutso to Girevi via Atsunta pass (3430m).

Day9 – From Girevi to Upper Omalo.

Day10 – Descending from Abano pass (2826m) to Lechuri.

Suitable for: Experienced riders riding enduro/AM/XC configurations.

Accommodation: Local guesthouses in: Kazbegi, Roshka, Shatili, Mutso, Girevi, Omalo. We have options for five star hotels in Kazbegi and Omalo for our first and last days of the tour.

Tour details can be discussed regarding the interests and capabilities of our customers. Regarding the desires of our customers, we can skip one region for riding and drive to another one by 4×4 cars. (this will affect total budget of the tour, but it will be negotiated in advance). We will return from Tusheti back to Tbilisi international airport on final day of the tour, or the next morning considering the flight schedule.
