Ready to push your limits and conquer some of the highest mountain passes in the Caucasus? Welcome to the Caucasus Trail, a thrilling 6-day mountain bike challenge that takes us through three high mountain regions of Georgia: Khevi, Khevsureti and Tusheti. As we ride, we’ll cross five stunning mountain passes, tackle breathtaking single tracks, and navigate some of the highest summits in the Caucasus range. Designed by the experienced team at Weeride Georgia, this unique route offers the ultimate adventure for those who seek both challenge and beauty in the wild heart of the Georgian mountains.
The Caucasus Trail will be the ultimate experience for any rider, combining everything you love about mountain biking: wild, untamed nature, challenging technical trails, and thrilling climbs. Over six days, we’ll cross five legendary mountain passes: Sadzele pass, Datvisjvari pass, Atsunta pass, Nakaicho pass and Abano pass. The trail to Atsunta Pass is particularly tough, so we’ll be hiking while our bikes and luggage are carried by horses to make the climb easier.
While high mountain trails often mean pushing your bike to conquer tough elevations, we’ve minimized those sections so we’ll spend most of our time pedaling through stunning landscapes and tackling exhilarating downhill segments. The trails connect the regions of Khevi, Khevsureti and Tusheti, weaving along rivers, over high passes, and through ancient villages, offering a once-in-a-lifetime ride through the heart of Georgia’s rugged wilderness.
