Romanov’s trail in Likani

Likani is a resort in Borjom-kharagauli national park popular with amazing flora and fauna and mineral springs. Before we start our tour we have to go to the center of protected areas and ask for permission as our trail is in natural preserve and they have to know our details. After climbing of around one hour we will arrive at ranger’s house with panoramic views at top of Lomi mountain. Feeling the atmosphere and smelling the forest of Borjom-kharagauli park we will gently start descending on the craziest ever trail built by Nikoloz Romanov. The trail is around 8 kilometers long and full of curves pumps and roots. This is probably the best flow trail in the region.

Normally it’s prohibited to drive a car there, but if we get a tour request days before we can officially ask for the permission to drive there and enjoy only descending part and even make two or three loops there during the day.

After we finish riding we will go to Borjomi park and have an opportunity to enjoy natural sulphur baths. After chilling in hot water we will have a tasty dinner in Borjomi and drive back to Tbilisi.
